How I Can Help
As a person-centred therapist, my main aim is to create a warm and supportive space for my clients. I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to grow and change, and my role is to help facilitate that journey. Together, we work to explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a non-judgemental way.

Empathy is at the heart of person-centred therapy. I make it a priority to understand my clients' experiences from their point of view and to communicate that understanding back to them. This helps build trust and rapport, which are essential for effective therapy. I also value authenticity and transparency in our relationship, being open and honest with my clients and encouraging them to do the same.

Another key aspect of person-centred therapy is focusing on the present moment. I assist my clients in staying grounded in the here and now, rather than getting lost in past regrets or future worries. This approach can be particularly beneficial for those dealing with anxiety or depression. By remaining present and mindful, clients are better equipped to manage difficult emotions and make positive changes in their lives.

Therapy can be a powerful tool for addressing a wide range of issues. It provides a safe, non-judgemental space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings, promoting self-awareness and self-acceptance.
By working collaboratively with a therapist, individuals can develop coping strategies, build resilience, and make positive changes in their lives. Therapy helps in managing stress, improving relationships, navigating life transitions, and addressing deep-seated emotional challenges.
Whether dealing with anxiety, depression, body image concerns, or any other personal struggles, therapy offers support and guidance, fostering growth and healing.

WHAT WILL THERAPY LOOK LIKE?
Here's a short guide to what a therapy session with a person centred counsellor might look like in 5 steps:
1. The therapist will create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share your thoughts and feelings.
2 They will actively listen to you and reflect back what you're saying to ensure they understand you correctly.
3. The therapist will help you explore your and thoughts, and encourage you to find your own solutions to your problems.
4. They will support you in developing your self-awareness and self-acceptance.
5. The therapist will work collaboratively with you to set goals and help you achieve them.
